Philippe Gaulard is a Professor of Pathology at Paris-Est University and Head of the Pathology Department at Henri Mondor Hospital, Créteil. He directs the INSERM U955 research group focusing on the immunology and oncogenesis of lymphoid tumours. His research has significantly advanced the understanding of molecular events affecting lymphoma presentation, outcome, and treatment response. Notably, his group identified the T follicular helper cell subset as the origin of angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma and recurrent mutations in epigenetic regulators. Philippe Gaulard is also a key member of the LYSA, contributing to clinical trials and translational research in lymphoma diagnostics and therapeutics.
